Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January, making it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty firm in the world. The shareholders will own 76% of the combined company. This deal is subject to regulatory approvals.

Joao Paulo Goncalves Ferreira, the CEO of Natura &Co is responsible for expanding the company’s international presence. He was previously Vice President of Supply Chain at Unilever Brazil and Latin America. He holds a MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has led the transformation of Natura from a traditional direct selling company to a more modern, digital company. The company’s digitalization has led to increased productivity and the implementation of 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

In January, Natura &Co plans to start trading its shares through ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will enable the company to leverage its brand synergies and expand its product range, and reach 200 million people around the world.

To ensure that the company is on the right track for the next phase of growth, the company has also appointed an entirely new leadership team. Roberto Marques will be the Group Chief Executive Officer and Angela Cretu will lead the company’s global business. She will oversee the global stewardship and operations of Natura outside of Latin America.

Before joining Natura, Joao Paulo spent twenty years at Unilever where he held a variety of positions including Vice President of Supply Chain. His last position with the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Ferreira is also a member of the Executive team of the C-Suite Department at the company. He isn’t a spend first or ask questions later type of person.

Angela Cretu

As the new head of Avon is Angela Cretu, a veteran of the company and its leadership team. Cretu has more than 20 years of experience in leading a top brand in beauty and is well-positioned to manage Avon’s global operations.

The Avon CEO has long been a defender of the women around the globe and has embraced the concept of gender equality. She has been involved with numerous campaigns to encourage positive gender equality for women in the developing countries. The most notable are those that combat violence against women and encourage women’s economic empowerment.

Cretu has held leadership positions at many other companies as well as her position as Vice President of Avon. She was Vice President for South-East Europe and Group Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and the General Manager for various regions.

In the last year, she was acknowledged for her contributions to the company’s mission and earned her the title of CEO of the Year and receiving the Management Today Champions of Change award. She has also been recognized as a leader for change in the category of Women’s Empowerment by INNOCOS.

The CEO of Avon has a passion for empowering women through beauty. Avon has donated US$1.1 million to breast cancer research to date. Avon does not just give money away however, it also allows employees to voice their opinions without fear of reprisal.

Avon’s new Chief Executive Officer will continue driving its mission of empowering women while also accelerating growth and profitability. She will oversee the operations of Avon outside of Latin America, while taking on the reins from Roberto Marques, who has been appointed as the Group CEO of Natura &Co.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is a senior executive leader at Avon. Acosta joined the company as Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently appointed Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. This role will be directly supervised by Charles Herington, the Company’s Executive Chairman.

Before joining Avon prior to joining Avon, he worked for several years working at Unilever. He has extensive experience in creating consumer-focused companies and establishing them in new markets. He is also an investor and member of the board at RoC Skincare New York.

As the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer As Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer, he is responsible for the evolution of the customer experience at Avon. In addition, he is responsible for the development of a new social selling strategy that is digital.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as a management trainee. He has worked in Europe and the United Kingdom. Later, he was in high-level positions within Unilever’s Latin American operations.

He was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever from 1999 to 2004. He was responsible for overseeing Dove one of the most well-known brands within the company. While doing so he was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty the global initiative which launched new products such as Pro Age.

After serving as a senior vice-president for Unilever’s Middle Americas business, he took on a larger international role. From 2006 to 2008, he was the Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever. He was located in New York during this period.

Previously, he was a Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His duties included directing sales and developing the brand’s Latin American strategy. He also assisted in the development of innovative product lines like Pro Age.

Louise Srivastava

Avon has a long heritage and offers a variety of products. However, one aspect of the company that stands out in recent times is its Health and Wellness division. This particular segment of direct sales has managed to take 33.5 percent of the total sales in the last twelve months, thanks to Scott White, CEO. On a bigger scale this is an enormous deal. James Scully

Avon has made a series of significant changes to its leadership team. In October, avon Leadership team chief financial officer Kimberly Ross left Avon to become CFO for Baker Hughes Inc. The company is also seeking to hire a new CFO who will be permanent.

Avon Products has announced that James Scully will become its new executive vice presidentand chief financial officer. He will report directly Sheri McCoy Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for all aspects of finance as well as information technology.

Avon has set up a new headquarters in London, and has taken a variety of steps to revamp the company. Avon’s new leadership has taken steps to improve profitability and reduce balance sheet leverage. It has also stepped up cost savings initiatives.

In addition, Avon has entered into an alliance with Cerberus Capital Manager, L.P., and will invest $435 million in the business over the next two years. ICR will provide capital market advisory services to the Company as part of the agreement.

James Scully will oversee the global supply chain for the company along with all IT and finance functions. He will also be in charge for implementing the company’s transformation plan. This is a crucial aspect of the Avon’s growth strategy.

Jim Scully is also a director at Avon and an Avon board member J.Jill. The new role he has taken at Avon will enable the company to follow its strategic plan. He brings operational expertise to the Avon.

Furthermore, Avon Leadership Team Miguel Fernandez, previously an executive vice president at Herbalife, will be named the Global President of Avon. He has extensive experience in ecommerce, complex customer management, and the execution of growth strategies.

Meanwhile, the Neiman Marcus Group is looking for a permanent chief financial officer. Two interim executives have been appointed.
